Thanksgiving Al Fresco

Thanksgiving Al Fresco

This post is in partnership with TruGreen to share with you how we #livelifeoutside! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What is it about November that makes us say every year, "I can't believe it's already November!"? November marks the beginning of the BEST time of year in my opinion, and while I'm a sucker for traditions, we partnered this year with TruGreen to try something NEW for Thanksgiving, and I gotta be honest - it was SO FUN and SO EASY. Like... suspiciously extra fun and extra easy.  We threw a Thanksgiving party al fresco! You can read my entire post on TruGreen's blog HERE, where I shared my best tips for getting your lawn ready for company, preparing your setting, and making sure the kids are occupied and your guests are warm and comfy when the sun sets. :) Head over to their blog and let me know what you think! Here's some extra snapshots from our day.

A VERY special thank you to our friends Phil and Sarah Thomas + their gang for letting us host a dinner at their house, on their freshly-planted winter grass lawn, and in general for just being the kindest people ever. And thanks to our friends Ricky and Jen Carillo and their beautiful girls for joining too, as well as our friends Savannah and Lexy! But mostly thank you to my husband Josh... because I tend to get bossy when I shoot, and he does so much to help me make my crazy visions happen, and he also made the table and benches like it's not a big deal. (They're a very big deal and they are available for purchase HERE if you have to have one, as I did.)
