Are you in the beginning stages of planning big things for your home (or flip, or vacation rental, or whatever!), but want to chat more about vision, process, ideas for your home, and give you an overview of the process? This is one of my favorite things to do! I love getting to meet YOU, see your space, hear your thoughts, see your style, and just get to the heart of what your personal haven should be for you. Homes are incredibly personal, so this initial meeting is important.
In-home design consults usually last about an hour, or until you get tired of my dad joke humor. We will walk through your home, talk about changes, what all might be involved with the renovation / addition. I’ll go over the step-by-step of what a renovation usually entails— no sugar coating! I’ll probably ask questions about your financing and budget, and what you need to make your home work for you (or, for your end buyer, if this is a flip renovation). After our meeting, I’ll know a little more about what you will need as far as scope of work on your project, and I’ll put together a design proposal for you, including rates and payment schedules if you’d like to move forward in working together. There is no obligation to do this, and if you just want us to come over and give you ideas on how to do your home yourself, you totally can! Pressure is not my game, friends, so please specify if you do not need a proposal following our meeting.
My in-home design consults start at $250, which can be used as credit towards design fees, should you choose to hire Paro Home as your project design team. Head over to the contact page to get started!
YES, I do offer remote design services! We will begin by scheduling a FaceTime / Skype meeting, where we will need to tour your home virtually, and then sit down and discuss plans, and everything we would normally discuss in a consult! I am available to come on board as designer remotely, but as there is a lot more involved in this process, please contact me to discuss if you are interested in this service.
Remote design consults are $250, and just like my local clients, should you choose to move forward in working with Paro Home as your design team, you will able to use that as credit towards the fees.
Remote design client spots are very limited! Please use the contact form to chat more, and don’t forget to include your location and time zone.
Room Rx has become one of my favorite blog features in which I tackle your poor, neglected rooms, and the rooms you love but something just isn’t right! We figure out furniture layouts in odd shaped rooms, or ways you can re-imagine your room on a lower budget. I love being able to offer my Room Rx series on my blog, but cannot guarantee everyone’s room submission will be featured! Submissions are out of control, you guys! If you’d like to submit for this free service gamble, you’ll find all the information here. If you are certain you need a Room Rx and don’t want to risk not being chosen, please contact me for a quote on your own, personal, guaranteed Room Rx. These are confidential and will not be featured on the blog unless you would like it to be featured! Rates vary depending on complexity of room and budget. For your own Room Rx, I recommend having a furniture / decor budget of at least $3500 per room in order to make the design fee worth it. This service is available both locally and remotely.
If you’re feeling stuck, or overwhelmed with scrolling through Pinterest, allow us to help sort out the craziness by picking your brain and crafting a personal mood board for you to stick to as you decorate your home, along with a color palette to (mostly) stick to. Along with the mood board you will receive a spec sheet with suggestions on fixtures and decor, prices, and links to buy everything in one easy spreadsheet to make your life a lot less complicated. All together, I call this our Deco Board. This service is available both locally and remotely. Head to my contact page to talk more about making your Deco Board!
