Room notes:
You can start your college dorm room shopping with one long, stressful trip to Target with your mom. Or you can do this easily online and just have to get essentials at Target with your mom. Choose your own adventure!
This was really fun to put together! Remember, taxes and shipping are not included in the final amount, please remember to budget that in.
Personally, I am interested in investing in items that I will keep and use as long as possible! I wouldn’t spend a whole lot on twin sized bedding, dorm curtains or area rugs, just because these have a time limit on them pretty much (5x8 rugs could be used for layering in the future, but really you won’t be living in a tiny room forever). I love plug in sconces because you can move them when you leave, and you can always find a place for those in any home.
