1 Month with Tuft & Needle
If you follow me on Instagram you may remember that last month we got ourselves a fancy new mattress from Tuft & Needle! I love this company - I love the no-frills approach to mattresses and their beautiful, simple branding. (I also love that they're based here in Phoenix!) It's incredibly easy to set up, and it's the number one rated mattress on Amazon. But I have something to report after over a month of sleeping on it. It's not actually a good mattress.
IT IS AN AMAZING FRIGGIN MATTRESS.
Truth be told, when Tuft & Needle approached us to try out one of their mattresses, I was a little skeptical. In the past, we bought a memory foam mattress at a big box discount store (for about the same price as our T&N) that ended up being awful. We sank towards the middle, the sides of the bed were about as sturdy as a pillow so you couldn't sit at the edge of the bed. We were so disappointed and we returned it, vowing to be a spring mattress family forever and ever amen.
I'm so happy that we took a chance on this mattress, and although we -full disclosure- were given this mattress, I would buy another one in a heart beat. I'm already dreaming of a guest room in our future house where all our guests can stay on their own T&N mattress! Our sleep is better, and my back pains (hunching over nursing a baby, anyone?!) are so much better as well. We actually just had ourselves a little staycation at an AirBnb (if you follow my snapchat, sorry - there were too many Buddhas in the apartment to not go crazy with my Buddha Cam) and all I could think about was that I couldn't wait to get home to my own mattress. So anyway, that's my very honest opinion and I hope you look into Tuft & Needle because they're a fantastic company with a solid product!
Okay... now I want to go take a nap. SEE YA.
