It's not too often that I photograph a couple without meeting them first, so I'm always a little nervous when I meet a couple and immediately start shooting! Seriously though, I had no reason to worry about it being awkward because Angel and Karla were like professional models or something. Their confidence as a couple, and in front of the lens, was so wonderful. And not to mention, Karla showed up with a ton of fun ideas and a car full of balloons. :)

Karla and Angel dated for TEN years before they were married on 1/1/11! (Girls, any of you have that kind of patience!?) They were the sweetest couple and I love their story, and really had the most fun photographing them in Knoxville, TN!
